AVCHD transcode yields more quicktime clips - why?
on Jul 20, 2010 at 9:41:54 pm

I am getting many more Quicktime clips (sometimes more than double) than are actually in Log and Transfer when I transcode to ProRes 422.

Could someone shed some light on this.

Thanks.

The drive you are transcoding to...how is it formatted? Fat32 has a 4GB file size limit, so will break up clips to accommodate.

Do they say -AV, -AV-1, -AV-2?
