Deleting an Audio Channel
on Jun 30, 2010 at 3:58:02 pm

I recorded audio with the Zoom H4n and there's some brief static on one of the channels. When I tried to delete it I couldn't separate the channels. I tried locking the channel I wanted to keep and unlinking but to no avail. So how can I delete one channel of audio? Thanks in advance for your time and expertise.

NO need to delete it, just don't use it. In the MIXING TOOL you can MUTE it, and when you bring it into the timeline, leave that track out. If it is already in the timeline, just click on the audio you don't want and press DELETE. It will still be part of the clip, but just not on the timeline.
