I'm very sorry for posting yet another audio sync problem, but I have been looking around in the forums and it seems as if I cannot get an answer to my problem.
While on a video shoot, I recorded the audio separately in Audacity. It was recorded at 16bit 41Hz. This obviously creates a problem since my video was NTSC, where the audio rate is 48Hz.
I had created a .mp3 file from my Audacity recording which I exported with a project rate of 41Hz. After I realized what I had done, I re-imported the .mp3 file into Audacity and converted the project rate to 48Hz so it could be compatible with the NTSC video I recorded.
Unfortunately, when I put the audio track into Final Cut Pro, it still seems to be out of sync, even though it is at 48Hz. Is there anything I am doing wrong?
When my audio is out of sync I can sync it for about the first 1st minute of video and then for the rest of the clip, audio/video are out of sync.
