1. Dip to color dissolve / 2. white flashes

Please help me.

1. I'm trying to use the dip to color dissolve to create a white flash. Everytime I change the color to white in the viewer somehow......it won't take in the timeline. When I place it in the time line...it's still BLACK!

2. Is there another quick flash thing in final cut as well as the dip to color. PLEASE watch THIS to get an idea of what I'm talking about....

Thank you!!!!!!

AFTER you lay the dip to color dissolve in the timeline, double click it to load it in the view and then change it to white. If that still doesn't work, use a white color solid on the track above your video and keyframe the opacity.

For those white flashes in the link you provided, again i'd just use a white Color Solid in the track above my video and mess with the opacity if needed

Thank you for responding...I truly appreciate your time. Would you mind explaining to me #2. Step by step.

Thanks!
