ok. a colleague of mine edited videos to be placed on you tube. he placed a couple immediately after editing and they look great. the rest he saved so that we could export them later. when i came to do this the videos an you tube have a boarder (all around and no letterboxing was added). when i went to try and figure out what the issue was i saw that each clip has a frame size of 1280x720 and a square aspect ratio. now when you open a new project these are the default settings for the sequence ,at lease when i did it and the image has no boarders. the sequence properties of the saved projects showed that the frame size is 720x480 and NTSC-CCIR 601 as the aspect ratio. i thought i could just change these setting back but when i tried that the frame just got larger. any help at all would be appreciated. i don't usually use fianl cut and i am not a video/ computer person i am just trying to figure this out... so be kind when explaining what i should do if you know how to fix it.
