i need to take it into FCP 7 slap a logo on it and out-put it to MPEG4

can any one give me some advice - work through?

i have tried a few different approaches but always end up bad results.

thanx! hamilton

Format: MPEG1 Muxed, 640 x 480 pixels
FPS: 30
Data Rate: 10.5 mbits

Hi Hamilton,
Use MPGStreamclip to transcode the MPG-1.
Export as 8b Uncompress or Prores to avoid picture degradation.
Keep the same size, pixels, fps.
The audio PCM 48Khz.
In FC conform the sequence to the clips.

Rafael, thanks for the tip. what would you set your "Pixel Aspect Ratio" & "Field Dominance"? I tried Prorez 422. What happens is while the clip is playing in FCP its darker color and when i press stop it lightens around three stops. (looks like shit) any advice?

Best regards,

Cw

Hamilton,
MPG-1 use Square pixels and is always progressive (NONE).
When FC is in standby is giving you a poor preview.
To monitor, set the canvas at 100% and render.
