Using AVC/H.264 with Final Cut Pro 6.0.6

Hi!
Thank you so much for responding to my post. I really need advice and help on this one. I just shot 20 hours of documentary footage in the jungle on Sanyo's VPC-WH1 HD camcorder. The reason I chose this camera was for it's size and the fact that it was HD and waterproof, which worked well with rainforest terrain.

Now that I am back, I am ready to start editing. However, I am stumped because it does not seem as though FCP 6 recognizes this particular codec. I can't figure out which setting to chose in the "setup" portion of FCP, for this AVC/H.264

Please...PLEASE help me out with this one. I am semi new to FCP and this is not making things any easier. I would love it if you could shed some light. Thanks so much!

Yup you should upgrade to the newer version of FC, it does have support for it.

There are no "technical solutions" to your "artistic problems".
Don't let technology get in the way of your creativity!
