 | Mxf4mac to Flame Workflow ?
on Dec 16, 2009 at 9:41:17 am |
Hi There,
We really need advice at this moment. We've cut a feature film on FinalCut 7.0 which was shoot with Panasonic Hpx 3000 on P2 cards. To be able to use metadata we used mxf4mac plugin. Everyting went perfectly on Fcp until now. We trying to conform this project to a Flame timeline. Seems like Autodesk Flame does recognize Mxf/ Xml that comes from Finalcut transcoded timeline and doesn't thats from Mxf4mac ?
Anyone has a experience on this issue ? Or any advice switching from Fcp/ Mxf4mac timeline to Flame or Smoke ?
We have asked Mxf4mac people but seems like they dont have the answer ?
thanks ..

It was my understanding that Flame can read native MXF files, but maybe it doesn't have an AVC-Intra decoder?

Did you export an XML and try it that way?
