changing framerate
on Dec 10, 2009 at 4:53:02 pm

Hi out there,
I would like to change the framerate of a (mute) animation from 30 fps to 25. The length of the clip and the tempo must change too. I dont want to recalculate the frames, just play it slower.

I have technical animations with 30 fps and I want to import them in my 25 fps project. I can even do that, but when i drag it to the timeline final cut renders it to forced 25 fps (shaky movements)

who can help?

RIght click on the file, choose Open With > CInema Tools.

Once open in Cinema Tools click the conform button, then choose 25.0 from the drop down menu and hit ok.

Your file will now playback @ 25.

Hi edl,
Import the animation to CinemaTools and conform it to 25fps.
The clip will play 1/6 slower.
Don't need to render.
