I will be working on my Mac Pro, with 4 x 1TB hard drives partitioned as RAID 5. I will split this raid array into two partitions. One for Footage and one for Cache. The footage will be Photoshop files, ProRes files, P2 files, Lightroom RAW files, AE project etc. (the usual Adobe data stuff)
What is a decent size for the Cache Partition in this case? I have made it 150 Gigs of a total of approx 2.6TB. Leaving about 2.4 for data. What do you guys think is optimal in my case? Or should I just partition it as one big drive, and just make separate folder for Cache?
