how can I print out my timeline on paper? just so I can do some notes and calculations for a time lapse.

That thread was from few days, so I was sure I saw that subject, but first didn't show up with the Search function because was in the "FC Basic Forum".
Good to know that some times the neurone works.

i am new to FCP.

I have downloaded a music track to run alongside my still images but when it plays all i get are continus beeps. I can see the music time line but not play it. What have i switched off / any thoughts. i have spent hours trying to figure out what i have done wrong

Hi Phillip,
Your audio is in a format that needs to be rendered.
Convert it with QT in AIFF 16b, 48Khz.

phil, it sounds like you need to render first before you can hear it?

If it was from iTunes, you can't use it, even if you do what Raphael suggests. It's copy protected. I'd imagine any other paid music download services are the same way.

There's a roundabout way to do it, but since we're probably talking about copyright violations here, I'll be darned if I'm going to say anything about it!
