Disk format

Hi there, I have a hard drive which is formatted in a specific way to work with a certain camera so please don't tell me how to reformat it because I am aware of that, but when I plug it in a message appears saying "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." and only gives options to 'initialize' (disk util which obvs wont help here) 'or ignore or eject.

The actual format of the disk is as follows:

The only thing which is odd is that the "S.M.A.R.T> Status" is "Not Supported"....

BUT through bootcamp, the PC side reads and writes to it fine, it's a brand new hard drive and sounds fine too, so it's NOT the hard drive at fault or any USB connection or anything like that.

So basically, is there a utility/ app than can read hard drives on OS10.6 with less restrictions etc?

The smart status thing is because the usb enclosure you have it in does not support smart status.

Try running disk warrior on the drive.

Hindsight is always 1080p
