Under the Tiger operating system I was able to make a folder with all of my aliases and copy it into the dock. Afterward I could click and hold on that folder in the dock thus letting me chose which program I wanted to launch. With the new Leopard system I seem unable to do this. Is there a better way to do this with the new system that I haven't discovered yet? Old habits die hard!
Thanks everyone I don't know if it because I have an old G5 or the single button mouse but I have to hold down the option key when I click on the folder now in order for it to work. Maybe all will get better when I get my new Mac, I'm just waiting for that government stimulus check!
What version of OS X are you using? There have been some updates to Leopard since it was first released that restored some of the Dock behaviors that were previously available in Tiger. Make sure to connect to the Internet and run Software Update to ensure that you have the latest version of Leopard.
