Ok, maybe I'm overlooking the obvious but... I left my G5 on over the weekend to do some file compression of video files. My 20" plasma was in it's usual state of rendering flowing green shades when I came in this Monday morning. When I awoke the computer I get to see a cow grazing on the desktop muttering some sort jibberish to anyone who will listen. Never scene this before and I don't recall downloading a screen saver or other gizmo for this app. Is a part of the OS? How do I turn it on and off, get rid of it? Doesn't seem to be harming anything but I was just wondering "What the hell is this thing"?
OS X 10.4.4
FCP Studio Pro
and a whole host of other programs.
I wonder how many calls a year Apple tech-support gets about Bruce? It's actually pretty rare to see him though, so maybe it's not that many. I know a lot of FCP users have never seen him. Oh well, enjoy him and remember he's a Yak, not a cow, buffalo, or moose as I've seen others describe him as.
