Installing a PCMIA wifi card in powerbook. How? Which?
on Sep 1, 2005 at 11:00:53 pm

Hi!

I have a 2002 tiBook which only can take airport cards, which apple no more sells. But it should be possible to install another wifi card into the thing, but which? And where do I find drivers and necessary mods?

Thanks, as always!

Gunleik

You can probably buy the Airport card you need from an online dealer like this one: http://www.powerbookmedic.com/xcart1/customer/home.php?cat=369

I use (with instant success) a D-Link AirPlus DWL-G650. Mac drivers are available online through orange ware micro.
