I have a light creating a Path for my Particles (Leafs) to move across a shot of a Roof.
The Problem is I'd like the Particles (Leafs) to already be moving along this path. The Path is actually a bezier curve.. It starts from the top and swoops down and then up.. The Simulation is to show how the Roof Protects you from the elements. If I use the Velocity from Motion effect.. then eventually the Leafs will continue to move down.
Besides offsetting the Motion of the LIght and my Particular Layer so the Particles are already on screen.. Is there a way to create a simulation of Particles moving along a Path without having to worry about Velocity from Motion effecting the Particles moving off this path?
Not sure what you are trying to do but you can turn the velocity from motion to zero so that wont be a problem and then use particulars pre run to have the leaves already on screen at frame 0. Is that what you want?
