Randomisation problem with Form

Hi!

I'm trying to create an asteroid field with Form in AfterEffects.
I have rendered an instance of an asteroid slowly spinning in a 3d program.
My first problem was that there is no random rotation function in form (as far as i can tell), so i couldn't make the asteroids look more unique.

I tried the split clip method, where i rotated 10 copies of the clip differently, but split clip doesn't sample separate clips randomly, so the spinning of the layers are all synced up.
Even is i offset the rotation of every one of the 10 copies manually they would still match their own copies.
As a last resort measure i tried to do this in particular, because it has more random features, but since it's an asteroid field it would look really bad if asteroids kept appearing and disappearing. So i set the physics timer to 0, but the problem is that it stops the asteroid's spin.

Any ideas on how i could do this without creating a lot of form layers?

Hi,

Are you using Form 2? When I choose Sprite or Textured Polygon I see the option to set the source time to 'Random Loop' which should do the job for your randomly spinning asteroids I think.
