Time Factor and Light Emitter
on Feb 3, 2011 at 1:20:07 am

Hi,
I have a particle emitter set to "Light".
This light has a wiggle positon movement.
I have applied Trapcode Lux to this light, so basically, I have a smooth spot light that wiggles, followed by particles...
When I use Time Factor to slow or stop my particles it doesn't change anything for my light emitter!
The emitter flies away ahead of the particles...
How can I link my Time Factor on particles to my Light Emitter?

Thanks.

Henri.

You are mixing apples and oranges. Your light is keyframed automatically using the wiggle expression while Particular is controlling the time factor for the particles. The best thing to do is to precomp your entire scene and then use time remapping to achieve the slowdown/speedup manipulation of time.

Thank you Mike,
I'll try to separate my apples from my oranges.
I didn't want to use time remapping because slowing down or speeding up my particles according to an audio layer seems easier with TimeFactor.
But I'll try that way...
