Even Spread (Particular)

To start, I am fairly new to particular. I have a project with titles spread out in a fairly large 3d world and right now I have the particles emitting from a light, but I can't seem to get the particles to fall at an even amount or "spread" across the entire plane. Do I just need to continue to crank up the x and z emitter size until I achieve the look I want, or is there an easier/better way? Thanks

If you want the particles to all hit a plane at the same time, either make a 3d layer above your plane and set particular to use a layer emitter, or you can make a box emitter with settings in the x and y or x and z dimensions to cover your plane. Then, set the emitter settings to directional and adjust until you are happy.

Best,

Mike

Thanks for the help. Also... how can I use multiple layers as obscuration layers? I have about 8 layers that I need to obscure particles.
