I'm in a bit of a rut with a project I'm working on and it involves a very complex particle effect. I'm trying to create an organic fume or solar flare like effects, which need to be emitted from the textured bits which make up a logo. I know how difficult it is to explain effects which have never been tried or tested before. However, I've seen a logo Ident which has the effect I'm looking to achieve.
Now as you can see, the designer has managed to have partcles emitting as embers fromm the resolving logo but he also has the fume or solar flare like effect emitting as well and then have the particles carried by the wind simulation.
My question is how do you recreate the fume like effect and have it emit from the logo and then have carried by the wind simulation and dissipate into nothing?
