I am on a project which I have to use 3ds Max and After Effects for post production. I made space ship modelisation on 3ds max and export the camera and plan from it to After Effects with the plugin After3dsMax. Everything works fine! But in order to make some reactor effect, I would like to use Particular, but there is a problem and I guess it's my distance.

I've already try to use my plane as emitter (ultra huge plane as you imagine), or to link a light to a null object, but I can't see any particule, even with the bigger size (1000) and nowhere on my timeline...
So if anyone have any suggestion or help I would be gratful to you. :)
At that distance, the far fade values in particular which are set up by default would turn all of your particles to transparent. Check to make sure the far vanish settings are beyond your layer distance to the camera.
