Want to have camera flying though clouds, using particular, but finding it difficult. Using smoke jet but want want the clouds just to stay there, so camera can fly through. Tried it with fractal noise but just looks a bit rubbish. please advise, thanks in advance.
Try going into Particular's physics controls and keyframe the "Physics Time Factor" property. The default setting is 1, but a value of 0 will "freeze" whatever has been emitted at that point in time. However, you must allow your particles to "build up" before you keyframe this property down to 0. So it should be at 1 when your comp begins, with a keyframe going from 1 to 0 at some point after you have a nice bunch of particles on screen. Hope that helps.
