Lux loses Parent tracking

I have a solid with the Lux effect on it parented to a motion tracked null.

When I keyframe the lux's light intensity, the light hops around in its position then once the intensity keyframing is over, it stays locked again to the parented null...

Any thoughts??

not sure about that... I've done animations with changing intensities, and with motion, but never parented to a null for positioning. I've not seen this problem before.

Any expressions anywhere that may be picking up some errant data?

Nope. If I parent the light to a null it doesn't work -- so my workaround was to parent the lux layer to the null (but I have to make the layer larger than comp size to prevent seeing the edges of the solid.

any way to just cut and paste the motion tracking data to the light position?

just curious, was your null a 3D null?
