3D stroke shift

I am having this very strange, yet frustrating effect with 3D stroke 2.5 and AE CS3. When I either slightly move the layer the effect is applied to or I render, the stroke shifts it's position. I can't render anything because it always shifts. Is there a logial reason for this or a bug?

Please send me the project file so I can try and reproduce:

peder. norrby /(at) gmail. com

(strip out any large sources and make sure it still displays the problematic behaviour before you send)

Hi, Peter.

Was there a solution to this problem?

I am having the same effect occur with 3D Stroke 2.5 and AE CS3.

The only solution is to turn the layer that has the stroke applied to it into a 3D layer, but I thought it was not supposed to be turned into a 3D layer???

Please help.

Thanks,

Jason

I am having the same problem. Move the layer and the stroke shifts somewhere crazy. Turn it to a 3d layer and back and the stroke is back where it belongs.

Help!!!
