I'm using a pre-comp to cycle through a font of snowflakes. That layer is being used to define a Particle Type in Particular 1.5.1. My problem is having each particle emitted with a unique snowflake and hold that snowflake through the entire 3 second animation. Right now each particle is continually changing after birth.
I've tried every variant of Time Sampling, Subframe Sampling, and changing the Character Offset keyframes of the pre-comp. Nothing seems to allow me to do this.
