Does somebody know how it's possible to obtain with 3D Stroke the effects of Naligun's Adidas posted in the gallery?
I could never obtain a stroke that moves in the space around other objects exept by rotating the layer on its 3D x or y parameters, but in this case the stroke became flat and too narrow.
How can I do that? Please help me....
- keep the stroke as normal, don't "rotate the layer".
- do your animation as if the stroke was going around objects.
- mask out the parts of the stroke you don't want to see in your animation...
- That's it!
I knew I had forgotten something and sopmeone... (probably because the Trapcode site has s omany problems lately and I wasn't able to verify). Apologies. ;O) From what I recall, Zuktoor is more or less right. The effect itself is mostly used as a standard 2D Stroke, just with the additional benefit of the tapering. All the "perspective" is added by shaping the masks accordingly, then cutting out offending areas using matting techniques.
