rotating a static particle field
on Feb 14, 2007 at 3:48:14 pm

I have a custom particle feeding a static starfield 1 preset (physics time factor is keyframed to 0) creating a statice background. I would like to rotate this "particle field" slowly in the background. Is this possible? What parameters in the Particular would create this effect?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Timothy

Animate a camera flying around. Do this in a pre-comp and use this pre-comp as a normal 2D layer in your main comp. You cannot rotate the emitter or something as it would only affect particles not yet being born (a PTF of 0 does stop everything, so no particles will be born anymore).
