I'm finding that the Particle Size Random setting in Particular seems not all that sufficiently random. Particles often feel to similar in size. It's hard to really see variation in size difference, especially with a fast moving emitter. Is there a script or a way to force them to be more evenly random from zero to Xsize. Or is there a way to get it to throw in a few errant, random, larger sized particles that maybe aren't in the range set through the plugin control panel?
You can't access the internal randomness routines, so no way to tweak them. If you need more randomness, simply use multiple emitters. Another way would be using custom particles - create it in a pre-comp, randomize it's scale across time, then in your main comp use one of the random or split methods for the custom particle.
