XSI import/scaling issues 2

So: scene units from XSI get interpreted as pixel values in AE so 1m = 1 Pixel or something like that. A common problem with 3D imports. You can post-scale all your data by using simple expressions like this:

X=position[0]*1000;
Y=position[1]*1000;
Z=position[2]*1000;

[X,Y,Z]

I basically just apply that expression to the position of each light and camera?

Thanks!

Yes. Just copy&paste as needed. If you're uncertain about the size, just add a slider Expression Control somewhere and modify it:

scale_factor=thisComp.layer("Dummy").effect("Slider")("Slider");

X=position[0]*scale_factor;
Y=position[1]*scale_factor;
Z=position[2]*scale_factor;

[X,Y,Z]
