I'm trying to get Particles to emit from a point (default), loop in a circle and return to that starting point. Is this possible? I'm trying to create a chaotic figure of eight. Several particles all emiting out from a central starting point, but on different circle planes and returning. A bit like an atomic animation idea. They will have a small trail also. Once I achieve one, I guess I'll flip it 180
Use the Path mode in Particular 1.5. Animate a light to form your shapes and then reference them from Particular (read the help for exact procedures). While not a bad idea, you won't have any luck with looping or mirroring. Particular requires a constant flow of particles as it always fully evaluates each particles lifecycle (it doesn't simply recycle existing calculations), so your particles have to be emitted over the entire length of your animation.
