I've got a light emitter that I'd like to add a second light to, but the particles come out identical to the first emitter and match in timing. Any way to change this? If I duplicate the solid and the light, all I get is more of the same...I need to set up a second effect, but have it look for something other than "emitter"...but this is set in prefs, which is global, yes?
I don't quite get what you are trying to do, but just duplicate your Particular layer and habve it look for a differently named light. For this simply change the name string in the Options panel of Particular and then name your second light accordingly.
