Trapcode bouncing particles within a shape
on Nov 20, 2006 at 4:13:03 pm

I have an image with an embedded alpha channel an d would like to run a particle simulation that has a bounce and collision event when it hits the edges of my shape.
At the moment, I have my emitter placed within the center of my object and have my wall layer as my image, my wall mode as layer alpha and collision event as bounce. Nothing happens...

Any help would be great.

Cheers.

Particular is a 3D particle system, it does not work this way. When used as a collision layer, your Alpha acts as a grate/ sieve pattern, not as boundaries. Sorry buddy, wrong tool in this case. Use the good old Particle Playground, it does what you need (with some workarounds).
