PARTICULAR: Moving Source but particles fall static?
on Aug 28, 2006 at 9:04:10 pm

I have tried to do a mockup of the effect I am trying to achieve.

Basically think of someone taking a snowblower and blowing a bunch of snow from left to right.
The difference in this and the "STICK" effect explained in the tutorial is that the particle source is moving.
I have tried to simply move the source but end up with all of the particles moving together with the source.
(So that when I moved the source 30 pixels right ALL the paticles moved 30 pixels right as well - I dont want this)
What I want is to emulate a moving source which is dropping particles.
Any guess on how to animate the source without moving the particles that have fallen? Im guessing something with the physics / gravity? Or perhaps I didnt follow the tutorial properly?

Thanks in Advance

Sounds like you are moving the layer instead of using the Emitter>Position controls.
