Particular: Birthing random numbers

Hi guys

I have a scene of a digital clock. The client has asked for random 2 digit numbers to fly out of the clock and gradually over 1.5 secs, fill up the screen.

The numbers once born, can not change, but they need to be different from the last number born.

I have particular, but do not know how i would attempt this. Any suggestions

Thanks
Chrisco

Try this

Create a text layer and offset the values from 1 to 99r. precompose it and call it numbers. then in another comp, use this layer numbers layer as a custom particle. remember to set it to a 3D layer. In time sampling, set it to Random - still frame.

And there you have it. Adjust to taste.

Enjoy.
