Trapcode Lux - Can't see volume light when facing camera

Hi. I wanted to put a light shining through a logo, but facing towards the camera. I tried with lux, but I just see the light when facing opposite to the camera onto a layer. When I move the light to the other side of the layer (even with transparency ) I can

I think you want to use Trapcode Shine instead. Lux cannot shine "through" a layer.

thanks Peder, that's it. Does it also work on 3D layers, or just 2D?

it is a 2d effect, but there are some tricks you can do with 3d:
