3d stroke gradient

I was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the stroke from the start to end or, apply a gradient to that 3d stroke.

I want my 3d stroke to begin as a white stroke and finish as a black one

http://www.shinjipierre.be/osef/trapcode.jpg an exemple of what I'm trying to achieve...

Nope, not really. As an alternative you could use Particular to paint a tapered stroke for you by animating particle color and size. Unless you explicitely need one of 3DStrokes features like the repeater, this is quite usable and just as flexible.

Huummm... In fact, I found a way to do that by myself ^^

I just had to use the write on effect and use it as a matte... Really... Why didn't I think about that earlier ^^.
