Looking to crate a cone w/3D stroke.

Hello, I am looking to create a cone shaped stoke (think tornado). Is this possible with 3D stroke? I can make a kick butt spring, but can't seem to get a cone.

Thanks for any insight.

Jeremy

There's a million ways to do this, but I'm not sure how you'r approaching the problam. Wghat I'd do is draw out the funnels cross section and then use the repeater. O were you trying to use Taper?.

Thanks for the response.

Yep, trying to taper. I tried drawing a spiral in illustrator, but couldn't quite figure out how to stretch it down into a funnel shape.

A cross section and repeater sounds interesting, but as you point out the taper would be funky.

Any other ideas?

Hi Jeremy,

I know this post is getting quite old, but I need to take my chance.

I was Wondering if you'd finally come up with a solution on doing a tornado shape that uses the taper function in trapcode 3d stroke.

Any response would be greatly appreciated.
