Hi, im working on a projekt of my own, where i need the background (wall)
to behave like a VU- meter. or volt meter if you like :)
i know how to do it in 2d. but what if i made the wall in 3d? not like a 3d layer. but at 3d piller in 3dstudiomax?

can i trigger an animation to behave after for an exaple, the bassdrum?

sorry for my bad english :)

Simon

Sure you can. It's pretty much of no importance to which parameter you connect Soundkeys' output.

That depends on how you approach it. Quite frankly there's a million ways. The simplest one would be using a cube build of layers in a sub-comp and then re-use this cube in the main comp (turn on 3D layer and collapse transformations and it will maintain its 3D properties) to build your wall. Then all you need to do is create separate channels of Soundkey and drive the Z-position of the cubes.
