Particular obscured by mutiple layers?

Is it possible to obscure a particular effect with multiple objects? - the interface only allows you to select 1 layer. I have also tried to place all the objects within a nested comp, but that doesnt work.....

Any ideas would be greatfully received,

Many thanks

Nick.

Well there is a little trick that allows up to three layers:

Set Visibility>Also Obscure With to All

Temporarily set Physics>Model to Bounce
Select the Physics>Bounce>Floor to a second obscuration layer
Select the Physics>Bounce>Wall to a third obscuration layer
Now set back Physics>Model to Air

Now all three layers will obscure the particles.

That worked perfectly for something I was working on (except I actually need to obscure 5 layers)... is there any chance the next version of particular would allow multiple obscurations, or is there some limiting factor in the coding? I ask because I assumed from your sig that you work for Trapcode... if I'm wrong, I apologize, but would love to hear anyone's musings on the subject.
