I have been asked to supply a "printable" version of a logo that has Shine radiating from the text. When I create a 32bit TGA, I get a black background and an alpha channel. Looks great. If I delete the background I lose most of the Shine rays. I really need a version that has good rays, checkerboard(transparent) background, and my text. Can't seem to achieve it. Any ideas or usergroup recommendation that might be able to help me?
Can't you just copy your layer a few times in PS and then fuse them back into one? Other than that it would be difficult to see anything since most pixels Shine calculates are always less then 100 percent opaque.
