PARTICULAR OIL UNDERWATER

Hi,

I have an AE scene underwater. I want to add particular "oil" to the scene. I would like the "oil" to rise slowly upwards and, most importantly,
dissipate slightly, "clouding" the water. Part of the liquid will become less opaque, and ideally, resemble strands of fluid, or indeed "clouds".

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Chris.

Not really. The going up part is easy as is making it less opaque, but you won't get any clumps or strands with Particular, not with one instance anyway. You could try using multiple layers of Particular with basically identical settings, but different particle types and blend or morph them into one another (Basic Spheres, Cloudlets, Spheres/ Cloudlets with Aux particles). It will still be tricky. Other than that, you could always try and explore the wonderful possibilities of a real 3D program...
