Zero G waterfall

Hi, I need some help, is there any way to create zero G waterfall in MAYA? The scene is basically water falling over an asteroid into space, on the asteroid there is simulated gravity so it retains its form but it transitions to increasingly zero G water as it leaves the sphere of influence. That's the scene in my head. I was thinking of using a newton field, does it work with bifrost? I read that bifrost doesn't seem to interact with anything else in the dynamics menu. I very much like bifrost as I ran a simulation and it looked amazing from the off. I have no skills at dynamics or getting things to look good so some simple tools/presets/tips would be very helpful.
