I am Working on a script for a automatic cleaning of scenes.
The scenes are a mix of Polygon and Spline.
For examble I have a modling of a Hat with one spline going along the surface.
Problem case : the spline is crosing the polygon.
Answare: scale the spline a little bit so it stays outside the modling.
secound Problem: scale tool does not always work, for examble organic shapes with a spline what moves in X-, Y- and Z Direction.
My Idea: Select all edit points of the Spline and move them X-units into the direction of the nearest Polygon Normal of selected Object.
Unfortunately I didn't find a way to do so. Even with mel or Python scripting.
