I'm having a bit of a hard time with a certain tribe character who is wearing a loincloth that makes use of nCloth dynamics. After I animated a walkcycle for him I encountered that the loincloth keeps getting stuck to his arms since they lightly brush along his hips. His entire body is basically a large, passive collider, but I only really need the collisions of his legs, so I tried applying a collide strength map to the collision properties maps section of his body and painted his arms entirely black so the collisions would be disabled for these.
Sadly the collision map isn't working at all. So far I tried to use both vertex and texture maps, but it seems like Maya isn't registering them. The cloth keeps getting stuck to his arms, so it seems like there's something I'm missing here. Any advice on this?
