So, I have been following guides for many times in concern with expression and this is the first time that this happened to me and it happened in maya 2016. So, this is the expression I'm using for the an ocean shader in renderman.
$r = rand(-1, 25);
aaOceanPrmanShader1.currentTime = noise(time) + $r;
It actually works and when I click create, it does change my currentTime attribute, however, once it changes, it does not change again. Could someone please help me with my code cause I really need it for a project. I kept clicking edit and it works but when I go to my timeline and change my time there, it doesn't update anymore.
