I'm very new to Maya texturing, but I'm having a problem that I can't seem to find the solution to.
I've modeled an object and now I'm trying to texture it. However, there is one face that seems to refuse to be textured. I've attached an image to show you what I mean, and assigned a checkered material to show the problem easier.
I tried to select the face and opened up the UV Editor and arranged it over the material but that didn't change anything.
Normals are correct and the face is attached to the rest of the object.
