Having a problem with applying a texture to an object. This is a pair of pants, and I started 2 ways, but got the same problem both times. If I UV map the pants and cut them up, then apply a lambert followed by a texture file into the color node, I get a decent jean tone, but the legs just get the colour but not the tone...I also tried starting anew, deleting all uvs, and just plain applying a lambert followed by a texture file, which results in choppier texture, but the same problem persists. It's also weird that in smooth view, it shows up as covering the whole pant leg, but in low poly view or when i render, i just get a blue pant leg. Any ideas?
