I just started Maya this part weekend. I made a dog walk animation with key frames that is decent. But, I can't seem to tweak it. When I go to move one body part it changes on a separate key frame that was already set. Essentially the key frames do not stay in place that were previously set. I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.
You will have to describe it a little more. So you set a time with the time marker, then you move the control rig and it doesn't place a key in that area? If you've been moving stuff around left and right in the graph editor, or scaling animations, it could potentially place keyframes between integer values. So say there's a key on frame 100.5, if you move the time marker to 100, and then adjust the rig and place a frame, it will place on on 100, but now you will have two keyframes really close together and they will interfere with each other.
