I have a small model of the Rockstar Energy drink logo. I modeled this as a test to figure out how to bake the lights to textures.
Model is complete, UV mapped, and Lit. When i go to LightingShading > Bake to texture (Mental Ray), i go through the settings and click convert.
My result is a very, very dark uv map, that looks absolutely horrible. Im not sure what im doing wrong. I've gone through numerous tutorials / forums and all their info is nearly the same and exactly what ive tried multiple times. Has anyone else had this issue?
The model was combined, deleted history, and done in Maya 2014 with MR.
