Rigged model deforms after exporting

Rigged model deforms after exporting

Hi,

I am new to Maya. I have a human model. I create bones for 2 arms and 2 legs and rigged it in Maya 2009.
When i export it to Collada (.dae), the model and animation is completely deformed.

Before exporting i combine all objects into one.
The bones and joints are still separate.
Do i need to combine or group the joints as well?

I am not sure about the steps before exporting.

Any help is appreciated.
